Spacestation
Description:
Spacestation is a simulation of the Doppler Effect, which is the name given to the perceived change in frequency of a wave as the source moves relative to the listener. For audio this equates to changes in the pitch of the sound source The pitch is higher as the source approaches and lower as it moves away. Examples include sound of a passing train, ambulance or race car. Spacestation allows you to apply this effect to any input material so its useful for sound designers or for musicians wishing to create spatial movement in their sounds.
Features:
- A graphic display to visualise the movement of the sound within the stereo field
- Visually define start and end points
- Advanced control of the path of the sound, both in time and in space
- Trigger the effect using MIDI or by pressing the onscreen button
- Specify a path duration in seconds or in tempo based measures
- Alter the different factors in the doppler effect (Gain, Reverb, Pan and Pitch)
- Warp control for special effects
- Delay effect
- Reverb effect
- Presets and Manual
